Therapy sessions are typically 45
 minutes. My current rates are

Individual therapy session: $300

Individual coaching/consultation session: $300

Couples therapy session: $350

Couples coaching/consultation session: $350

Telephone conversations over 5 minutes, report writing, consultation with other professionals, and longer sessions will be charged at the same rate and prorated to each 15 minute interval, unless agreed otherwise.

I accept credit cards, cash, check, Zelle, Paypal and Venmo. Payments are due at the time of services.

Though I do not bill insurance directly, I can provide monthly Superbill that can be submitted to your insurance for your Out-Of-Network benefits.

Please contact your insurance to determine if you have mental health coverage for an out-of network provider. You will want to specifically ask how much they will cover and how much you will be responsible for. You may also want to ask how many psychotherapy sessions are covered annually by your insurer.

Please note, if they ask for service codes, clarify CPT code 90791 (initial intake) and CPT code 90834 (therapy session) with modifier GT and service code 02 for telehealth/video services.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Failure to cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment time, or no-showing will result in a charge for the full amount of the missed session.

Why counseling?

People come to counseling/therapy for a variety of reasons. You may have been feeling stuck in a situation, losing self-confidence and motivation. You may have difficulty coping with a recent loss or a big life change. You may be experiencing difficulty with sleep, or finding yourself easily irritated. You may be struggling with balancing your own needs and other relationships. You may be going through a difficult time that cause you a great deal of emotional pain, suffering from feelings of depression, anxiety, and isolation, and feel like you are lost or no one understands you.

How to prepare for counseling?

  • Start with a 15 min free consultation

  • Discuss with your therapist what progress may look like

  • Change is hard, so expect the process can be uncomfortable at times.

  • You don’t need to come in to each session with some big things to talk about

  • Know that you can speak up if you don’t agree with your therapist

  • If things are not going well in therapy or you are thinking about ending therapy, talk about it with your therapist
